Stellar Music 24 : KEISHI '2007 Live' at Phuture, Zouk (Stellar Music)

Did you know Stellar Music Podcast has recently been made available at the Apple Store? Click HERE for free subscriptions to access free DJ mixes and exclusive music from some of the world's & region's best DJs.

In this edition, creator of Stellar Music Podcast - DJ Keishi - puts up a mix that was recently recorded at the 1st party of Stellar Music's 1st Anniversary @ Phuture (by Zouk).

Having being influenced by the sounds of Hernan Cattaneo, D-Formation, Remy, 16 Bit Lolitas & Luke Chable, Keishi has created a unique sound of electro & tribal veering towards chunky driving, progressive house in the late hours.

For nearly 8 years, Keishi (incidentally the 1st JUICE Mag DJ Quest 2002 winner) has spun in some of the biggest brand name events known throughout the world Global Underground, Ministry of Sound's Essential New Year’s Eve party, Space Ibiza World Tour; as well as just about about all the biggest clubs in Singapore in recent times (HOME, Clinic's Aurum, Zouk's Phuture, the now-defunct Liquid Room and Suba); and wowed audiences in Rotterdam, Holland (Progres-z at Club Nighttown), Hong Kong (Queen’s Club), Kuala Lumpur (Atmosphere & The BackRoom) & Penang. Somewhere along that timeline, Keishi has also warmed up for international artists such as Djs Sander Klienenberg, Dave Seaman, Slacker, Lucien Foort, Kasey Taylor, Electric Tease and Space Ibiza resident Jose De Devina & Tania Vulcano.

DJ Zimbardo - Adrift, Benchmarc, Bugeyed, Erase, Distraekt Records

Zimbardo, whom you'll most likely know from the successful production duo Piliavin & Zimbardo, was first discovered by the legendary Terry Farley and appeared on his Junior Boys Own label as 'Deadset' in 2000.

If you're a DJ then you'll no doubt have a Zimbardo (or Piliavin & Zimbardo) production or remix in your collection. Z has been instrumental in bringing his dirty twisted house to the masses through a string of over 50 productions and remixes on some of the worlds top house labels, including Sondos, Junior, NRK, Adrift, Stereo, Juicy Music, Star69 and more. Z's tracks have also graced the finest compilations including the Global Underground Nu Breed series and Subliminal Sessions.

Z's latest production and remix offerings have been hugely successful for him taking the coveted No.1 sales spots in djdownload.com and beatport.com, and also the No.1 position in the Balance Promote Group Chart, bringing in a whole set of new fans for his unique take on the dirty electronic house sounds including the likes of James Talk, Jody Wisternoff, Hybrid, Elite Force, Force Mass Motion, Clive Morley (Fabric) and a whole heap more..

Zimbardo's DJ career obviously runs hand in hand with his productions, and he has travelled the world delivering sets to clubbers as far and wide as Taiwan to Russia through to China, Lithuania ... and the list goes on to well over 25 countries, covering all the major clubbing brands such as Ministry of Sound & Zouk.

Zimbardo's new radio show with superclub Eden, Ibiza entitled 'Benchmarc & Eden On Air' started on Proton Radio this January 2007. He will be teaming up with Eden this year for a series of events for the Benchmarc this summer season at Ibiza.
