With gigs across Asia, Australia, US (Miami Winter Conference) to London venues (The Borderline, Big Chill and 93 Feet East), Singaporean London-based DJ Sonny has also been voted amongst the top 200 DJs worldwide in the prestige DJ Magazine top 100 poll. 

Besides a former residency at the infamous superclub Zouk, the 28 year old has also done remixes for the likes of New York house pioneer Satoshi Tomiie, headlined the DJ Magazine Australia/Asia tour and is currently running his new ‘dontdressup’ (Thursdays) and ‘Slipped Disco Sundays’ at 93 Feet East with Ben Osborne (NME Radio). 

Earlier in 2008, he started his label ‘Mighty Rumble!’ from the streets of Shoreditch in London - earning rave reviews and plays from the likes of Filterheadz, DjFex, Peter Kruder (Kruder & Dorfmeister), Stephane K (& John Creamer) and Darren Emerson’s Underwater Records.

Stellar Music 13 : PHUTURE Presents DJ SONNY (Singapore) LIVE in Phuture/ Zouk Singapore

3 years into his Zouk residency and still in his 20s, DJ Sonny has been pushing Zouk’s music culture & Singapore’s dance scene to a higher level of recognition. Voted within top 200 in UK's prestige DJ Mag top 100 poll by his Asia and home fan base, he became Singapore and South East Asia's first ever to crack the elite list, placing him along the ranks of other dance music stars around the world - indeed an artist rightfully feautred on Stellar Music Digital Podcast!

2006’s Miami Winter Music Conference sees him playing for the Pacha Party, and a 3 hour dj set for SAW Recording’s 5th Anniversary Party @ the Shelbourne Bar. Back home at Zouk, he anchors his monthly signature YOU nights, playing a unique blend of electro-ish house with forward-thinking techy and miminal sounds. Sonny will also be playing at Singapore's biggest outdoor party - Zoukout @ Sentosa, Singapore on Dec 10th.

On the production front, his single (with New Zealand producer Team Brooklyn) titled “Day 3” , which also includes his solo remix as a 2nd version and another remix by Tony Thomas on Cubic Records (UK). Currently, he’s working on several solo singles and remixes, which includes a remix of Satoshi Tomiie’s “Glow” track on SAW records (NYC).

Stellar Music 03 : CHRISTIAN CAMBAS (Greece) - Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, Swift Records

Christian Cambas, from Athens, Greece - is one of the most talented acts in the progressive house business in recent years. 2005 found Christian getting placed at #88 of the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll; a first for any Greek DJ.

Amazingly, he started making his name in the drum and bass scene with his own label First Commandment Records whilst studying in the US.

After returning home, he bagan to dabble in house music and as they say, the rest is history. Christian found himself playing alongside DJs such as John Digweed, Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Sasha and many others, in definitive clubs and events around Greece. For two years, he held a monthly residency at +SODA in Athens.

His touring schedule now includes Europe, Asia as well as North and South American destinations. This is the Devillock mix, as featured also on Frisky Radio (Filesize: 79.1 MB).

For those that have not yet heard of DJ Ricky Stone, take note. Ranked No 48 in DJ Mag Top 100's poll, Ricky Stone is set for world domination.

Orginating from Sheffield, he moved to Hong Kong couple of years ago, set up his base, and have since played countless of venues throughout China, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and has achieved a massive fan base throughout. He's also taken into Europe, South & North America dates. This guy is massive!

And to top it off, his continuous hard work has paid off handsomely - Ricky's the tour DJ of choice whenever heavy weights Sasha & Tiesto plays in Asia. Proof of that?
