Stellar Music 35 : s007ii aka SUBROUTUNE (Canada)

Transmission ... 3, 2, 1 ... ready, get set, GO!

Stellar Music is BACK - and we promise we're going to cause more mayhem on the podcast airways! Did we mention we're now based in London - so that kinda explains why we're been quiet for the last quarter of 2007.  We're all set to kick off 2008 with some new concepts but first up, here's an exclusive mix from one of North America's most groundbreaking progressive DJs we've heard in a while. You may not have heard his name yet but we're pretty sure you will be hearing more about him!

Born in Toronto Ontario, Canada and currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia, DJ s007ii aka dj subRoutine had extensive musical training from the Trebas Institute of Recording Arts and learned to play 'live' under the careful guidance of Canada's top turntablist: DJ Lee - TheVinylKiller, using a pair of CDJ - 1000 MK2's and an Allen & Heath Xone 62 Mixer.

In the last 6 months, DJ s007ii has been causing a massive buzz on some of the world's leading dance music websites, including ProgressiveHouse.com (podcast), DJMix.net and Mixupload.com. He's has been working on the decks ferociously and has already released 7 promotional mixes that defines what progressive dance music is about today - deep, dark, dirty, driving and mesmerizing progressive house.

"A mix should be a bit trippy, a little innovative, sometimes experimental, but ultimately fun to listen. I strive to make each one as entertaining as possible." Tune your speakers up - this one is top notch tech house interlaced with progressive grooves and incredibly spicy electro tracks.
