Since 1999, DJ Genshi aka Chris Ong has been infusing gawky techno and electric sounds into his DJ sets, drawing his influences from progressive, disco and New Wave. His tight mixing is complemented with uncompromising eclecticism.Genshi has whipped up frenzy in venues like Funkytown, Insomnia, Bottles-Up Laboratory, Bang Bang, Rum Runners; headlining as a DJ at events such as Awakening Production’s Sluice, Hype, LiterArti, Sonic Edge, Sonic Festival, Frontal Labs’ Eclectic Sessions, National Day countdown party Rock Da Nation, and the Esplanade Opening Festival.
Genshi is also currently involved with Rueben Wong aka. SoulFix as the DJ duo, Signs Of Life (SOL).
